co-founder of (THE•IS)
Leah MacClellan, PhD, MPH is a facilitator, educator, and guide devoted to helping people reconnect with their innate capacity for healing, regulation, and conscious living.
With advanced training in public health and epidemiology, Leah began her career within the Veterans Administration, focused on research in rehabilitation and neuroplasticity.
This work shaped her deep respect for the body’s intelligence and its ability to adapt and heal amid trauma, chronic stress, and nervous system dysregulation.
Guided by an interest in holistic and integrative approaches to healing, Leah’s personal practice of yoga, meditation, and breathwork became the foundation for her work as a teacher and facilitator. She is the co-founder and co-owner of Seaside Power Yoga in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, where she serves as a RYT-500 yoga teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, leading yoga and breathwork teacher trainings and mentoring emerging facilitators.
Leah’s work has expanded internationally through her roles as a facilitator and teacher educator with Elemental Rhythm Breathwork, breathwork facilitator for The Sacred Garden Women’s Program. Through private coaching, workshops, and retreats, she supports high-performing individuals, women’s groups, veterans, first responders, and crisis response teams, including national, international, and nonprofit organizations focused on resilience and mental health.
Married for 25 years and the mother of three, Leah brings a grounded, lived perspective to her work, bridging science and spirituality, to create intelligent and compassionate containers that support insight, healing, and lasting transformation.
